ColActive® Plus Ag is an advanced wound care matrix designed to actively manage the wound environment and promote natural healing. This powerful dressing combines purified collagen, highly absorbent fibers (sodium alginate and CMC), and broad-spectrum ionic silver. Upon contact with wound exudate, it forms a soft, conformable gel that maintains a moist healing environment, absorbs excess drainage, and effectively targets common barriers to healing like elevated protease activity and microbial presence. It is the ideal solution for complex wounds requiring both active biological support and strong antimicrobial protection.

• Manages MMP Activity: Contains EDTA and collagen to target and deactivate elevated matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs), which can disrupt healing.

• Contraindications: Not for use on third-degree burns or patients with known sensitivity to collagen, silver, or other listed ingredients.

How to Use:

1. Cleanse and debride the wound with an appropriate cleanser or distilled water.

2. Cut the dressing to match the exact wound size and dimensions.

3. Apply directly to the wound bed. For dry wounds, pre-moisten the bed with distilled water to initiate gelling.

4. Cover with an appropriate secondary dressing.

5. Change daily or as clinical condition indicates.

Care and Removal: Gently remove the secondary dressing and carefully lift the ColActive® Plus Ag matrix to avoid disturbing fragile tissue. Cleanse the wound site before applying a new dressing.
